A spectator is asked to think of any card. There is no forcing and no restrictions are made on the spectators selection. They can truly think of any of the 52 cards in the deck. The magician then introduces four misprinted jokers with an array of marks printed on the faces and backs. The spectator is asked to look over each card, noting which ones show the suit of their card on their faces, and which ones the value on the back. The magician never sees the sides of the cards that the spectator is looking at as soon as the spectator has viewed the misprinted cards, the magician instantly and positively knows the identity of the thought card. The magician does not fish for answers and does not guess the name of the card. He knows exactly which card the spectator is thinking of.
