Great entertainment value for children of all ages. The children love Timmy the tiger.
A large cage with doors on it is shown. This is where Timmy the tiger lives.
But he keeps playing tricks on the magician.
So he has to be put in his cage and the doors closed. You do this and tilt the prop so that the sound of something sliding is heard. You then open the door you just closed to show that the tiger has gone.
You are soon told to open the other door. You tilt the prop back and open it, This happens until the children are about to attack you. You then show both sides to be empty.
He is always playing tricks on you. He has gone back to his tiger cave.
After some audience involvement you open the cave to show he is there.
You tell the children that Timmy has said if you place him back in his cage he will disappear. You do so and there is another sequence of him appearing and disappearing from the cage. Eventually he really does vanish and reappear in the cave which has previously been shown empty.
This is an excellent routine and prop for the working performer.
